“A”mazing Angel
It felt great to finally finish the “A” streets today. I did a little mental math and calculated that I am now 5% of the way done. I hope I finish this challenge before it snows in the fall. To celebrate I decided to do my best snow angel at the mid-way point of Athens. Fortunately, someone was walking by and offered to capture the image. This adventure must have me feeling younger at heart (and at 50-years-old I’ll take it).
I also realize I am becoming more observant on my walks. I think I have always been above average – when my family goes on hikes I am usually the one that notices wildlife in the woods. Walking all the streets in Lakewood is taking it to a new level. I took a pic of this cool mosaic in the entryway of the apartment on the corner of Atkins and Madison. I know I’ve walked by that corner before and never noticed it. I’m happy I noticed it today!
