Blossom Park

Kaleidoscope of Houses

Today was my coldest day so far. I have been blessed with generally nice February weather up to this point. But today the wind chill made it feel like 10 degrees, and as I was coasting on my bike into the wind it felt closer to zero.

Fortunately, as I got to Blossom Park things got sunnier. The sun came out just as I was taking a picture of an interesting masonry decoration. The houses on Blossom Park were amazing in their diversity. They differed in style, size, shape and color. I don’t think I have been down a street yet with so much variety.

I have driven down Blossom Park before searching for a parking spot for Lakewood High School football games, but until now I never really took notice of the houses.

On my ride home I got stopped at the light on the corner of Detroit and Belle and took notice of the van in front of me. Now I have two signs to order some flowers today.
